Natural Newborn Photos Captured in the Comfort of Your Own Home

Kiersten Marie Newborn Sessions are different from traditional newborn photography.


I focus on simplicity, comfort, and the quiet beauty that exists in the bonds you share with your baby.

Rather than posing babies or using artificial props, I photograph natural, heartfelt interactions — the way you hold your baby, the way siblings lean in close, the small moments that already matter more than you realize.

I proudly welcome and celebrate all kinds of families. Creating a safe, inclusive space is non-negotiable for me — and if that doesn’t align, I won’t be the right photographer for you.

WHO:

You, your new baby, and anyone else who makes your family complete. Siblings, grandparents, and pets are always welcome!

WHEN:

There’s no “right” or “wrong” timing — just what feels best for your family.

Sessions can happen as early as 5 days old, but anywhere within the first 1–2 months is still perfect for capturing the newborn stage — especially for families who are adjusting or reaching out after baby arrives.

If your little one is already here and you’re wondering if you missed your window: you haven’t.
You’re still very much in the newborn stage, and you’re always welcome to reach out and see what’s possible.

WHERE:

In the comfort of your home.
There’s no need to pack a diaper bag or plan an outing with a brand new baby. Your cozy, familiar space is the perfect place for these moments.

HOW LONG:

Sessions are roughly 45–60 minutes.
I’m mindful of how full this season already is, and this tends to be the sweet spot before newborns (and parents) are ready for a break.We move gently and efficiently — always with your baby’s comfort in mind.

    in the comfort of your own home (and if we need more time, no problem!).

  • Complimentary travel within 10 miles of downtown Seattle.
    Beyond that, travel fees apply to cover time and expenses.

  • Proofs delivered within 7 business days of your session.

  • Newborn Photo Sessions range from $1150 to $1650.
    All collections include digital images and a print credit.

Hey! I’m Kiersten. (She/Her/Hers). I’m a newborn, family, and headshot photographer.

While I've called Seattle home for quite some time now, my roots lie in Minnesota, where the spirit of "Minnesota nice" runs deep in my veins and reflects in both my personal and professional life.

One thing I often hear from clients is how comfortable I make them feel during our sessions, which is my ultimate goal (besides, you know, getting gorgeous photos together).

If you’re searching for a photographer who keeps things relaxed and easy, you’ve landed in the right spot. I'm not the type to go all out with loud cheers or make you do zany antics just to get “the perfect shot” (not that there’s nothing wrong with that). I’ll guide you the entire time — but I won’t ask you to reenact moments or perform happiness.

I believe in going with the flow because let's face it, both photo sessions and life never go exactly as planned (especially with fussy toddlers or, you know, husbands). During a session, you’ll often find me cracking jokes, helping you remember what to do with your hands, adjusting you into beautiful light, or just backing up and giving you space to settle in. The best moments tend to happen in the in-between — when you forget about the camera and just get to be yourselves.

Oh, and when I'm not behind the camera, you can probably find me sipping one of Seattle’s many amazing lattes, playing guitar, obsessing over my plants, or enjoying the absolute beauty of the Pacific Northwest with my Korean rescue pup named Fig.
